Join us for the Young Company Autumn term

Participation groups start back the week commencing 9th January 2023.

Forest Forge Young Company offers opportunities for young people aged 18 – 25 (post sixth form) to delve deeper into the world of theatre and develop themselves as artists and theatre makers.

Working together as a collaborative ensemble, they are encouraged to create their own work – whether that is performances in our studio, pieces of site specific work or digital performances. The Young Company are supported and mentored by the team at Forest Forge, who pledge to offer training and experience in all aspects of theatre from performance to directing, technical to administration, fundraising to design, marketing to dramaturgy.

We also offer support for people auditioning for drama schools, and offer opportunities for assisting workshops

Last year Young Company created Scores on the Doors – an event to raise funds for their summer show ‘Buckets‘ by Adam Barnard, with members managing all aspects of the show themselves. Former members of have gone on to train at the UK’s most prestigious drama schools, including RADA and Rose Bruford and undertaken full-time careers in the Arts.

Timings and costs

Ages 18-25 (post-sixth-form) | Wednesdays  7.30pm – 9.00pm, starting 9th January 2023 | At Forest Forge Theatre | £95 per 10-week term (please note – no class during half term)
