Forest Forge Theatre Company is excited to once again be working in co-production with Bumblefly Theatre to bring another festive tale to your doorstep. The story of Little Red Riding Hood will be touring to local communities, village halls, and schools from the 30th November – 18th January 2020.

From the team that brought you The Elves and The Shoemaker, The Frog Prince and last year’s Rumpelstiltskin, this collaboration promises to bring a family show filled with madcap humour and a sprinkle of magic.

This year the show will head out on tour in Forest Forge Theatre’s new touring van thanks to fundraising and kind donations from the theatre’s supporters. The new (to the theatre) Mercedes Sprinter van will be taking theatre out into the community, replacing the previous van that had been touring for 18 years and was no longer road worthy.

Forest Forge Theatre’s Creative Producer and CEO Sharon Lawless said, “Rural touring takes theatre into communities and gives the opportunity to experience theatre to those who may otherwise not have access. We are extremely grateful to all those who donated and helped us fundraise for this essential new van. Thanks to their efforts we can continue to reach out with the power of theatre!”

So, get ready to be enchanted by the tale of the little girl in the red cape and a misunderstood wolf. Meet characters from familiar fairy tales along the way and enjoy memorable songs that will have you singing all the way home. Adapted and Directed by David Haworth, this year we welcome back storytellers Dominic Phillips, Michele O’Brian and Anna Harriott as the Travelling Players!

After it’s premier night at Forest Forge Theatre in Ringwood the show will be touring at venues across Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Dorset. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this wonderful performance.
