Our Youth Theatre and Saturday Morning Drama Groups offer fantastic opportunities for anyone aged 7-18 years to create dynamic ensemble performance.
They offer increased self-confidence, resilience, tolerance, fearlessness, curiosity, collective identity, celebrating individualism, tools for managing emotion, friendship, romance, empathy, liberation, collaboration and co-operation; With lots of laughing, acting, socialising, moving, inspiring, supporting, script reading, devising, daring, floor-sweeping, ball throwing, people throwing, mischief and mayhem.
Encouraging young people to stand tall in their own shoes or walk in somebody else’s is at the heart of what we do.
Our ethos is all about unlocking an individual’s creative potential through playful anarchic weekly sessions. As well as in-house shows at our theatre in Ringwood, there are opportunities throughout the year to perform street theatre and site-specific work.

Groups, timings and costs
Our Youth Theatre and Saturday Morning Drama Groups run in term time for 10 weeks (note we do not meet during school holidays) and we welcome new members at any stage throughout the year.
Saturday Morning Drama Group 1= Ages 7-10 (Sch yr 3 – 5, RWS class 2-4)
Saturday 10.00am – 11.00am | £85 per term
Saturday Morning Drama Group 2 = Ages 10-12 (Sch yr 6 & 7, RWS class 5 & 6)
Saturday 11.30am – 1.00pm | £95 per term
Group 3 = Ages 12-14 (Sch yr 8 & 9, RWS class 7 & 8)
Thursdays 5.00pm – 6.30pm | At Forest Forge Theatre (limited numbers) | £95 per term
Group 4 = Ages 14-16 (Sch yr 10 & 11, RWS class 9 & 10)
Thursdays 7.00pm – 8.30pm | At Forest Forge Theatre (limited numbers) | £95 per term
Group 5 = Ages 16-18 (Sch yr 12-Sixth Form, RWS class 11+)
Wednesdays 5.00pm – 7.00pm | At Forest Forge Theatre (limited numbers) | £105 per term
