Do you have a pile of old photographs from any time between 1900-1990? Perhaps of Hythe Village, your family, or photos looking out to ships at sea?

We are inviting residents of the Waterside to share old photographs and memories from these decades, which show this local area, to help illustrate what’s changed and what’s remained.

Can you add to the New Forest’s archive of photos and stories to help preserve the Waterside heritage? Forest Forge Theatre and the New Forest Heritage Centre are working together with playwright David Lane to listen to the stories behind your photographs.

Chosen photographs and stories will then form an exhibition in February 2020 at the New Forest Heritage Centre in Lyndhurst. Plus, take part in the Hythe and Waterside Rotary 50th anniversary photographic competition.

BRING YOUR PHOTOS ALONG TO ANY OF THESE DATES AND JOIN US FOR TEA AND CAKE!

• Weds 27th November (from 3.00pm) – Fawley Royal British Legion, Exbury Road, Blackfield, SO45 1XD
