Forest Forge has extensive experience of working with schools, colleges and universities.
We can help schools deliver drama and English curriculums and
learning objectives effectively whilst providing an exciting and inspiring experience for students.
Forest Forge specialise in designing and delivering educational workshops for schools, colleges and universities.
We use drama, games and ensemble theatre techniques to create sessions that support the curriculum, explore a range of difficult subjects and underpin classroom learning.
Whether you’re looking for a drama workshop about a Shakespeare text, puppetry, masks or storytelling or want a new way to explore subjects around e-safety, positive relationships and wellbeing, we can help!
The team at Forest Forge have extensive experience in working with and supporting young people with a variety of needs. We have particular interest and expertise in supporting those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, those with behavioural difficulties (including working in Pupil Referral Units) and children with ASD.
At Forest Forge we celebrate difference and use our drama workshops and sessions to help young people with a variety of needs and experiences build confidence, empathy and develop new skills.
Forest Forge runs afterschool drama clubs at a number of local primary schools and advanced theatre skill sessions at secondary schools.
We are happy to discuss developing ongoing programmes that support schools to offer high quality provision beyond the school day.
Our after school sessions use Forest Forge’s ensemble working ethos and include drama games and activities, helping pupils to build theatre and life skills, whilst making friends and having a great time.
Would you like to offer your students the chance to work with a professional director or other theatre professionals?
The Forest Forge team love to work with FE and HE students and are often asked to direct productions by students at regional colleges and universities.
We bring our unique style of ensemble theatre to your course and can work with your students to devise, direct and create professional standard productions – ideal as end of year showcases or final pieces as part of longer courses.
