David Waugh is a qualified accountant and has a long successful career within many different businesses; from small start-ups through to Directorships within multinational companies. For the last 20 years he has operated his own company in Ringwood, supplying clothing, mostly for corporate companies across the UK.
David has always had a very keen interest in the creative arts and entertainments industry. In his student days, he ran mobile discotheques and booked bands for the Student Union. In recent years he has written a book and poems. In addition he has written and produced a play successfully at the Bournemouth Little Theatre, based on Mary Shelley. He has attended film making, screenplay writing and photographic courses and has appeared as an extra in films and on stage. He has been active in the local scouts group fundraising, a governor at Poulner Junior School, Treasurer at Ellingham Water Ski Club, and has run marathons in support of Street Child (a charity supporting school age children across Africa).
David brings to the board his valuable commercial expertise and a grass roots understanding of the creative arts that will assist Forest Forge reach its goals within the local community and thrive in the years ahead.
