Emma

by Jane Austen adapted by Martin Millar and Doon MacKichan

Directed by Lucy Phillips

Performed by Forest Forge Youth Theatre Groups 3 & 4

Emma Woodhouse, handsome, clever and rich with a comfortable home and happy disposition, had lived nearly twenty one years in the world with very little distress or vex her.

When the young and impressionable Harriet Smith, the amorous Mr Elton,  the dashing Frank Weston and the mysterious Jane Fairfax enter the lives of Emma and her dear friend Mr Knightley, their gentle world is turned upside down.

Using their well loved blend of ensemble theatre and youthful energy, Forest Forge Youth Theatre present Jane Austen’s Emma, a joyful and irreverent version of a classic story of match making, love and society.

Come join us for an evening of high tea, nonsense and of course, love.
